Corporate Entrepreneurship
The corporate entrepreneur, starting from an idea and with the resources of the organization where he works, is dedicated to transforming it into a successful product or service. Experience shows that successful organizations are those that initiated changes in technology, marketing or organization and, with a transforming leadership, achieved even greater success in relation to the competitors. Thus, the intrapreneurial capacity is able to materialize innovations in the companies where they operate.
The Entrepreneur is usually an individual who opens his own business, enters the market as an entrepreneur and job creator, the intrapreneur is also an entrepreneur working for a third party, with small differences between the two types. In some situations these differences can be imperceptible.
Intrapreneurs are all "dreamers who do", those who take responsibility for creating innovations of any kind within an organization.
The intrapreneur can be the creator or the inventor, but it is always the dreamer who conceives of how to turn an idea into a profitable reality.
For PINCHOT(1989), most employees with intrapreneurial characteristics leave organizations not because they consider their salaries and benefits to be insufficient, but because they feel frustrated in their attempts to innovate. They need delegation of power to act as much as they need material compensation ,and organizations do not always encourage intrapreneurship within their structure.
FUNDAMENTAL POINTS TO BECOME AN INTRA-ENTREPRENEUR.
1-FIND SOMETHING YOU REALLY BELIEVE IS ALIGNED WITH YOUR VALUES AND THAT YOU WANT TO ENTREPRENEUR.
2-MAKE A BUSINESS PLAN TO HELP YOU TRANSFORM YOUR IDEA INTO REALITY.
3-ASK YOUR QUESTIONS WITH OTHER ENTREPRENEURS.
4-BE READY TO DO ANY WORK NECESSARY FOR YOUR IDEA TO WORK, IF YOU HAVE TO SWEEP THE FLOOR, DO IT. MANY TIMES, NO ONE GIVES US SUPPORT, WHEN WE DO SOMETHING NEW, OR WHAT IS WORST WE FACE SEVERAL RESISTANCE.
5-BUILD A TEAM, YOU MUST SELL YOUR IDEA WELL TO LET IT OUT VERY WELL AND LISTEN TO THE IDEAS OF OTHERS.
6-FIND SOMEONE TO "SPONSOR" YOUR IDEA, TO SUPPORT AND EVEN PROTECT YOU. USUALLY THIS PERSON IS NOT YOUR BOSS, SHE IS IN OTHER AREAS OF THE ORGANIZATION. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOUR BOSS IS NOT SUPPORTED BY YOUR BOSS. IMPORTANT.
IN THE SAME WAY ENTREPRENEURSHIP, INTRA-ENTREPRENEURSHIP CAN BE LEARNED THROUGH COURSES, LECTURES AND SEMINARS, OR WITH PRACTICE, THROUGH THE EXPERIENCE OF INTRAVENTURE PEOPLE. THE NUMBER OF FEATURES PRESENTED IS SUFFICIENT FOR THE INDIVIDUAL TO BE CONSIDERED THE OWNER OF CERTAIN FEATURES THAT COMPLEMENT THEM.
