the PMBOK

The PMBOK is an acronym for Project Management Body Of Knowledge that consists of a set of practices in project management, organized by the Project Management Institute (PMI), which have become the pillars of the institute's project management methodology. in order to privilege the activities that are considered essential for the correct management of a given project.

THE GUIDE TO THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT BODY OF KNOWLEDGE (PMBOK), this was the first attempt to document and standardize these practices and information accepted as project management, the first official version of this guide was released in the 90s and years later a new version. In 2004, the third edition was published with the biggest change since its release, the English version of the fourth edition of the PMBOK, which came out in 2008.
