Principle-Based Leadership

The principles are, in a way, proven and validated natural laws, which do not change, but indicate a path and apply at all times and in all places, based on values, ideas, norms and teachings based on reality , unlike values, which are subjective and internal, principles are objective and external, operating under natural laws, regardless of prevailing conditions.

A leader is someone capable of developing a culture or a value system based on certain principles. However, this is a great challenge that will only be achieved by leaders with vision, courage and above all humility to learn and grow continuously.

This is a type of learning that happens by listening, observing trends, noticing and anticipating market needs, evaluating past successes and mistakes, and noting the lessons that conscience and principles teach certain lessons: a true leader recognizes his own value ,which is manifested through his courage and integrity.

Principles-based leadership considers the following requirements: impartiality, promptness, equality, honesty and trust, it also has other characteristics that I will put below.

 

1-They are continuously learning, their skills and abilities to carry out tasks and they are always expanding.

 

2-They are turned to service for service, they see life as a mission and not a career, every day they volunteer to work.

 

3-They radiate positive energy: they look cheerful, pleasant and happy. Their attitude is optimistic, positive and their spirit is that of a person who is enthusiastic, hopeful and full of faith.

 

4-Believe in other people, believe in people's potential, do not feel better than other people. They are active, have immense fun, are very distracted, have a healthy mood.

 

5-Think in continuous terms, have priorities, the leader's actions are considered, tempered, moderate, moderate and wise.

 

6-They live sensibly in the present, plan carefully for the future and adapt with flexibility, have a good will to do things, do not manipulate.

7-Feel happy with the success of others. They accept both praise and blame in a balanced way. For these people, the only real failure is the experience through which nothing was learned.

8-One of the main qualities is the willingness to take risks, one of its fundamental principles is flexibility, its security is in  your initiative, expediency, creativity, willpower.

 

They do not feel threatened by the fact that others are stronger in certain aspects and in negotiations, they try to focus on other people's interests and concerns, rather than disputing positions, little by little, their sincerity is recognized by others, who become part of a creative problem-solving process.
